Light Purple Cleaners Inc. is seeking a dedicated, dependable, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our growing team for a new contract in Lantz and Milford Nova Scotia.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across office, industrial, and common areas, helping create a safe, clean, and professional environment for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including floors, surfaces, washrooms, lunchrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
- Sanitize touchpoints and maintain high cleanliness standards
- Remove garbage and replace liners
- Restock washroom and facility supplies
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Follow scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks efficiently
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling
- Ability to use cleaning equipment safely and properly
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic maintenance skills are an asset
