Chrysalis Dental Laboratory Inc. is a dental implant-focused laboratory specializing in implant restorations, digital dentistry, and advanced implant workflows.
We are the in-house dental laboratory of Chrysalis Dental Centre, an implant-specialized dental clinic in Burnaby, BC. Working closely with experienced implant dentists and restorative teams gives our technicians the opportunity to be directly involved in a wide range of implant cases and continually develop their knowledge of implant dentistry.
Our work includes single and multiple implant restorations, full-arch implant cases, surgical planning and guides, digital workflows, CAD/CAM, and other advanced implant prosthetic solutions.

Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Dental Laboratory Technician to join our Model & Scanning Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build their skills and grow professionally in an implant-focused dental laboratory environment.
You will work alongside an experienced laboratory team and collaborate closely with clinicians who focus extensively on implant dentistry. We value teamwork, attention to detail, continuous learning, and a genuine passion for dental technology.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Dental model work and preparation
- Model mounting and articulation
- Implant model preparation
- Trimming and adjusting implant components and abutments as required
- Scanning models and cases for the CAD/CAM department
- Assisting with digital implant workflows
- Assisting with post-production and finishing procedures
- Supporting technicians with implant-related laboratory procedures
- Maintaining accuracy, organization, and quality throughout the laboratory workflow
- Assisting other laboratory departments as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of dental laboratory experience preferred
- Experience with dental models and scanning is an asset
- Implant laboratory experience is a strong asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Comfortable working with digital dental technology
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and willing to learn
- Genuine interest in developing skills in implant dentistry and digital dental laboratory technology

Location & Hours
Our laboratory is centrally located in Burnaby, BC, near Kingsway and Edmonds Street.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
