Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable <PERSON>/Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various construction disciplines, including masonry, concrete forming, and restoration. This role involves working on diverse projects that require hands-on skills with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. The <PERSON>/Labourer will play a vital part in ensuring the successful completion of construction and renovation tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Assist with rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry work to support project requirements
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform concrete finishing, flooring installation, and caulking as needed for various projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Conduct restoration and renovation work, including carpentry, flooring, and other finishing tasks
- Use hand tools effectively for demolition, assembly, or repair work
- Execute heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols
- Support the installation of structural components such as rebar, formwork, and framing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of mechanical systems and heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with construction techniques such as masonry, concrete finishing, welding, and flooring installation
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for various building projects
- Experience with restoration or renovation projects is a plus
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools required for construction tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, and equipment operation
- Prior experience working with <PERSON> or in similar roles is advantageous
