As part of our commitment to employee development, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as an Instrument Mechanic with the opportunity to begin an Electrical Apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain a variety of instrumentation and control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
- Conduct calibration and configuration of instruments
- Work closely with senior mechanics and technicians to ensure proper system functionality
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
- Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols
- Provide support to other departments as needed
- Electrical Apprenticeship: Work towards completing an electrical apprenticeship, gaining hands-on training and education in the electrical field
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Instrument Mechanic
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues
- Basic knowledge of electrical code and safety procedures
- Willingness to commit to an electrical apprenticeship and complete the program requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites
Requirements:
- Must have experience on commercial/ Industrial construction sites.
- Must have basic tools.
- Ability to work well with others and lead by example.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Accurately complete safety documentation daily.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.39-$43.14 per hour
