The Queen’s is seeking a professional and welcoming Coat Check Attendant. As the first point of contact for our patrons, you will play a vital role in setting a positive and energetic tone for their evening. We are looking for an outgoing, upbeat candidate with excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival while scanning their ID's, processing tickets & ticket payment, and checking guest coats, bags, etc.
- Keep accurate records of checked items using designated systems or manual logs
- Retrieve coats efficiently upon guest departure, ensuring a smooth exit process
- Provide information about venue amenities or event details as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately for coat check services (if applicable)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coat check area throughout shifts
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide friendly, professional guest services
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive guest experience
Skills
- Confident and positive customer service skills with a welcoming demeanour
- SIR an asset
- Excellent communication and public speaking abilities to interact confidently with guests.
- Ability to handle cash handling and patron inventory responsibilities accurately
- Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or high-pressure situations
- Attention to detail for record keeping and organization of checked items
