Shortline Moving Solutions is a locally owned moving company that specializes in the transport of furniture, office and commercial goods. We are seeking a highly organized and personable Administrative & Booking Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in managing job bookings for our commercial accounts, communicating with customers via phone and email, and supporting our sales and dispatching team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Duties
- Manage and schedule commercial bookings efficiently via email, phone and dispatching platform.
- Provide exceptional communication and attention to detail on the work orders in which you manage.
- Review completed jobs and enter the appropriate details into dispatching and accounting systems.
- Answer phones, greet customers and direct requests to the appropriate departments.
- Managing damage claims and finding appropriate solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Various other administrative duties assigned as they arise.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in reception, hospitality, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in computer with high and efficient typing speed
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
- Proven customer service experience with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to navigate damage claims tactfully, while ensuring a fair middle ground is found.
- Proficiency in time management and prioritization of tasks.
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
