Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach
OsteoAlign Performance | Aurora, Ontario | Full-Time | September 2026 Start
The Opportunity
We are building a clinical-performance facility inside a premier baseball training complex in Aurora. The core of the work is data-driven athletic development — building programs that take athletes who are already healthy and make them measurably faster, stronger, and more powerful, using objective testing to track and prove progress over time. Baseball is the anchor sport given our home inside the facility, with a growing hockey performance program as a second pillar. Alongside that, the facility also supports athletes coming back from injury, taking them from injured to strong before returning them to performance training. This is not a big box gym. It is a focused, technology-driven environment where the work is serious and the results are measurable.
We are looking for one person to lead the strength and conditioning program from day one — across baseball, hockey, and general athletic performance. The performance gym is a dedicated 2,500 sq ft space inside a 17,000 sq ft training facility, purpose-built for high-performance work. You will have access to the full VALD performance testing suite and a direct clinical referral pipeline from OsteoAlign. The role is yours to build.
Whether you are early in your career and ready for a platform to grow, or you are established and looking for the right infrastructure to take your practice further — we are open to the right conversation.
What You Will Do
- Design and deliver individualized S&C programs for athletes across baseball, hockey, and general sport performance
- Conduct VALD-based assessments and translate objective data into programming decisions
- Serve as the off-ice strength and conditioning partner for our growing hockey performance program, working alongside experienced on-ice coaches
- Collaborate with the OsteoAlign clinical team on athlete return-to-performance progressions
- Build and maintain athlete relationships that drive long-term retention
- Contribute to the longevity and adult performance programs as the facility grows
What We Are Looking For
- CSCS certification required, or actively working toward certification
- Experience working with competitive athletes — baseball and/or hockey background is an asset
- Someone who takes ownership of outcomes and earns athlete trust over the long term
- High character, reliable, and serious about the craft
What We Offer
- Base salary $48,000–$75,000 depending on experience and existing client relationships. Base can be higher based on current existing clientele.
- Realistic total compensation exceeding $100,000 for the right candidate who builds the program — performance bonus tied directly to what you build, with no artificial cap on that upside
- Your athlete relationships are yours — we are building a place people want to stay, not a revolving door
- A built-in athlete base from day one through our hockey and baseball programs — you are not starting from zero
- Full access to the VALD performance testing suite from day one
- Clinical referral pipeline through OsteoAlign for both youth and adult performance clients
- A full-time marketing hire dedicated to promoting your services and programs
- Administrative support to streamline program development so you can focus on coaching
- A facility and team built to make you better at what you already do well
If this is the environment you have been looking for, we want to hear from you. Apply with your resume and a brief note on what you would bring to this program.
