Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to support construction, transportation, and logistical operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and precision to ensure smooth project execution and operational success. Candidates with experience in Skid steer/Loader operation, commercial driving, or automotive repair are highly encouraged to apply. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, and Skid steers in accordance with safety protocols and project requirements
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Load and unload freight using Skid steer or other machinery, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed
- Assist with site preparation, grading, and material movement to support construction or logistical activities
- Drive commercial vehicles as needed for transportation of materials or equipment between sites
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on equipment when necessary
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries on-site
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as Skid steer, Grader, loaders, or Bin trucks
- Commercial driving skills with a valid CDL license is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive repair or troubleshooting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy loads when required
- Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and reliability in completing assigned tasks efficiently
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
