Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Full-Time Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant functions, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a team of hospitality professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service experience, and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences. This role involves managing food preparation, supervising staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Coordinate daily restaurant operations to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a high level of hospitality.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the onboarding process for new employees.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning, food presentation, and service standards.
- Implement policies related to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling expertise is essential.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team management capabilities.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including food industry best practices, serving protocols, and hospitality standards.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment.
- Skills in interviewing potential team members and conducting performance evaluations.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, kitchen operations, and restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Additional experience in hotel or barista roles is considered a plus for versatile management skills.
