We are seeking a dedicated and experienced north Indian cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food service, skilled in meal preparation, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety regulations
- Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Manage food inventory, restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Passion for the food industry and continuous learning in culinary arts
