Locations: St. Clair West & Wellington & Portland (Downtown)
Focus: Sports Performance, Recovery, & Multidisciplinary Athlete Care
Our Mission
At The Runner's Academy, we believe in the transformative power of movement. We empower runners and athletes of all backgrounds with the tools they need to move better, feel better, and pursue their passions longer and with more joy. We combine clinical expertise with genuine enthusiasm, creating an environment where both clients and practitioners thrive.
About Us
Founded in 2014 with a vision to revolutionize runner-focused care, we've built a thriving multidisciplinary team of movement specialists. Following our successful expansion to Hamilton in 2024 and our brand-new downtown Toronto clinic at Wellington & Portland in 2026, we are growing rapidly alongside a vibrant running community. Across both our St. Clair West and downtown facilities, our bright, centrally located clinics feature fully equipped gym spaces and a collaborative squad of Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Strength Coaches, and RMTs.
The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate, growth-minded Registered Massage Therapists to join our teams across our two Toronto locations. This role is a perfect fit for an RMT who thrives in an active, movement-focused environment and wants to move away from isolated practice into a truly integrated, multidisciplinary team.
Whether you are looking to plant roots at a single location or split time across our Toronto clinics, you will step into an immediate, highly motivated athletic caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceptional, Client-Centered Care: Provide high-quality massage therapy and develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans for active individuals and endurance athletes.
- Collaboration & Cross-Referral: Work actively alongside our multidisciplinary team. You care deeply about the client journey, ensuring post-treatment follow-up and cross-referring to other internal specialists to create a seamless action plan from day one.
- Community Connection: Help us support the local community and running groups through occasional participation at local races, workshops, and events.
- Culture of Curiosity: Contribute to our shared growth by participating in regular team education sessions, mentorship, and ongoing clinical development.
What We're Looking For
- Current registration and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- An Athlete Centered Focus: Deep interest or experience in sports massage, active recovery, and treating athletic populations. (An elite running background isn't required, just a genuine enthusiasm for helping people move!).
- Growth Mindset: An advocate for your own development, eager to learn, and excited to collaborate with a team of like-minded movement professionals.
What We Offer
- Competitive Compensation: An attractive, rewarding fee-split structure.
- Industry-Leading Mentorship: Learn and grow alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team specializing in running science, including FCAMPT physios and Olympians.
- An Engaged Caseload: Step into an immediate, motivated clientele who are deeply passionate about movement and highly committed to their recovery and performance goals.
- Growth Beyond the Table: We value creating opportunities to use our expertise beyond traditional practice. Whether it's community partnerships, unique brand collaborations, or launching new clinic services, we support your creative professional goals.
- Leadership Potential: Real opportunities for career advancement and leadership roles within a rapidly growing organization.
Join Our Team
If you're passionate about elevating the standard of care for athletes, find purpose in a movement-focused approach, and want to grow alongside a dynamic team of specialists, we'd love to hear from you.
