Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join the Qimmiq Team. If you're a dog lover and have office experience, this might be the perfect job for you! This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in various office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage all communication from customers through phone, text, email, and through the software program we use.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, typing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed, including basic accounting functions using QuickBooks.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
- Keeping the Main Board up to date at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of previous office experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for filing and record management.
- Effective phone etiquette and strong customer service skills are essential for this role.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is an advantage.
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this position. Wage is based on number of years of previous office experience & Qualifications
Hours of work would be:
Monday to Friday 7:30am - 11:30am and 2pm-6pm and some weekends.
Qimmiq is a very busy place and we work with a small team, we welcome a lot of dogs/day, Punctuality and Attendance are very important.
