Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor food temperatures and cooking times to ensure proper preparation and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal service, including marinating meats and chopping vegetables.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service efficiently.
- Help train new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and food safety practices as needed.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, particularly grilling methods.
