Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. Duties
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project planning and execution
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and install pipes, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing components
- Support the setup and operation of welding equipment when necessary for pipe fabrication or repairs
- Participate in the assembly of plumbing systems according to specifications and industry standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during work activities
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks on plumbing equipment and systems as directed by supervisors
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in plumbing, construction, or related trades
- Experience or familiarity with carpentry, HVAC, welding, or general construction is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is preferred but not required—training will be provided
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in plumbing work
- Ability to work safely around construction sites and adhere to safety guidelines at all times
- Willingness to learn new skills through on-the-job training and mentorship
- Prior construction or maintenance experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential
