Brenco Industries Ltd. is a quality provider of metal cutting, bending and fabrication solutions located in the Nordel Business Park in North Delta. Our operators run a variety of metal processing equipment of varying complexity, including:
Saw, shear, drill, punch, laser, plasma, waterjet, press brake, and plate rolls.
Experience helping with CNC machines or in a manufacturing environment is an asset. Training for all tasks will be provided on site by the company, including safety training. Brenco offers opportunities for growth and advancement within the company to motivated individuals.
Duties include:
- This position is primarily responsible for assisting the primary operators.
- Learning to read work orders and shop drawings, and following verbal instructions.
- Assisting with the operation of various metal processing equipment.
- Checking measurements of finished parts with a tape measure or calipers.
- Cleaning, counting, and stacking cut metal pieces.
- Crane and forklift operation.
- Cleaning and basic maintenance of your work station.
Requirements:
- You must have forklift operating experience.
Crane operating experience is a bonus (asset).
- You should have a good work ethic, be able to work well under pressure, work well with others, be detail-oriented and organized.
- The environment is fast-paced but friendly.
- Good attendance is very important.
- You should be physically fit enough to be on your feet all day, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- You must be able to communicate well in English, including reading and writing.
