Job Overview
We are seeking Full Time and Part Time Barista & Baking assistant . Looking for applicants 18+. Baking experience is a plus. Must be able to work weekends and early mornings. Must be willing to complete food and safety training if requested.
In these roles, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment as well as baking up our delicious treats. Your primary responsibilities will include baking and preparing food items, Preparing and serving delicious coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, assisting customers with their orders, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive experience in our food service establishment.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Prepare food items according to safety and quality standards.
- Provide information about menu items and help customers make informed choices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
- Basic math skills to ensure accurate order processing and cash management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
