Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, food handling, and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Support the culinary team with ingredient organization and inventory management
- Ensure all kitchen tools and utensils are properly stored and maintained
- Assist with serving food to guests or customers as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold hygiene standards
- Support hospitality services by maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food handling is a plus
- Previous hospitality or serving experience can be beneficial for understanding customer service expectations
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food service
