Ucademy helps students across the UK achieve top grades at GCSE and A Level — and earn their place at the universities they deserve. We're looking for Sales Consultants to lead sales calls and help students and families find the right solution for their educational needs.
About the role
You'll join pre-scheduled consultations with families who are already interested in Ucademy — parents who want the best for their children, students who are anxious about their results, and families making a meaningful financial decision. Your job is to listen, guide, and help them understand whether Ucademy is the right fit. You're not cold-calling. You're having real conversations about education, potential, and futures.
What you'll do
- Lead video consultations with parents and students to understand their academic concerns and offer the Ucademy program that will help them achieve their goals.
- Help them to understand how Ucademy's programs work and discuss the investment to help families make confident decisions.
- Sometimes people need time to put things in place before enrolling, so you will be expected to keep in contact with your clients through calls and messages until they have enrolled.
- Once they have enrolled, you will hand over to the academic team smoothly.
You'll thrive in this role if you...
- Believe that quality education genuinely changes lives — and can articulate why that matters to a family sitting on the fence
- Have personal experience with high-stakes exams, tutoring, academic support, or helping someone navigate their education journey
- Are a natural communicator who can balance warmth with clarity — you can empathize with a worried parent and still bring a conversation to a decision
- Work independently and stay consistent — remote work suits you because you're self-motivated, not because you want less accountability
- Get genuinely excited when you help someone make a decision that's right for them — not just when you hit a number
Requirements
- Experience in the education sector, even better if you have experienced higher education/university.
- Strong spoken and written english - you will be talking to clients from primarily a UK background so clarity and tone matter
- Reliable Internet connection, a computer capable of taking video calls, good camera and audio quality and ease with using tools like google meet
- This role is flexible but we are looking for someone who is committed and able to take multiple calls throughout the week consistently - the majority of our calls during school terms occur after 4pm UK time; but during holidays and weekends, calls can be taken any reasonable time of day.
Nice to have
- Background and experience in education
- Even better if you have experience or knowledge of the UK exam system and university admission process
- Anyone with experience in education is welcome but students in higher education/university often thrive in this role as they are better able to connect with our student audience and advise on achieving their goals
Compensation
This is a commission-based role — your earnings are directly tied to the enrolments you convert. There is no fixed base salary, which means the opportunity is as big as your drive and skill.
