A well-established orthodontic clinic in Nova Scotia is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Orthodontist to provide locum coverage on June 29 and June 30, 2026.
You will join a collaborative clinical team committed to delivering exceptional orthodontic care and creating positive, confidence-building patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive orthodontic care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management
- Deliver high-quality care with a strong focus on patient experience and clinical outcomes
- Supervise and support clinical team members, including hygienists and assistants
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Perform bonding and debonding of orthodontic appliances, including brackets and aligner therapy
- Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety protocols, and clinical standards
- Clearly communicate treatment plans, progress, and outcomes with patients and families
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Licensed Orthodontist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- Proven experience in orthodontics, including fixed appliances and/or clear aligner therapy
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to high-quality patient care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
