We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Housekeeper–Cook to support the smooth operation of a busy family household. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized home while preparing nutritious meals and assisting with general household management. Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Perform daily cleaning of all living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common spaces.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize, and maintain household surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Organize closets, storage areas, pantries, and household supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the home.
- Monitor and restock household cleaning products and supplies.
Laundry & Wardrobe Care
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away household laundry.
- Iron and steam clothing as required.
- Organize wardrobes and seasonal clothing.
- Manage linens, towels, and bedding.
Meal Preparation & Cooking
- Plan and prepare healthy, family-friendly breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks.
- Accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Create weekly meal plans and grocery lists.
- Prepare occasional meals for guests or family gatherings.
- Batch cook and prepare meals for busy weekdays.
Household Management
- Grocery shopping and household errands.
- Maintain inventory of food and household supplies.
- Coordinate service appointments and deliveries when required.
- Assist with special events, family gatherings, and entertaining.
- Ensure the home remains guest-ready at all times.
Child & Family Support (Occasional)
- Assist with supervision of children when requested.
- Prepare children’s meals and snacks.
- Help maintain children’s play areas, bedrooms, and belongings.
- Support family routines as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper, Cook, House Manager, or similar role.
- Strong cooking and meal preparation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
