Responsibilities
- Provide professional haircuts, trims, shaves, and styling services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and offering expert advice.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Upsell additional grooming products or services to enhance the client experience and increase retail sales.
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with clients about their desired styles and provide aftercare recommendations.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
Experience
- Proven experience as a barber or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of haircutting and styling skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including proper sterilization of tools and workspace cleanliness.
- Ability to upsell products or services confidently while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills to effectively understand client needs and explain grooming options.
- Experience managing retail sales or front desk operations is a plus.
- A valid barber license or certification as required by local regulations.
