Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bubble Tea Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, skilled in food and beverage preparation, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing high-quality bubble tea drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in food service and customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea beverages according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as ingredient assembly and beverage garnishing
- Ensure timely service during peak hours through effective time management
- Follow food safety procedures to ensure proper handling of ingredients and beverages
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Good time management skills to manage multiple orders during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or food preparation roles is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
