Hofhuis Farms Inc. is a progressive dairy farm milking 200 cows with 4 Lely robots.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various farm machinery to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Support the daily care of livestock by ensuring equipment functions correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize farm productivity.
- Assist with daily barn chores
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation and farm machinery maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting.
- Basic math skills for measurements and record-keeping.
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dairy farm experience or knowledge is an asset
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Osgoode, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
