Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and bar service to guarantee smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of servers, cooks, bartenders, and support staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper hygiene practices.
- Manage cash handling processes and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate transactions.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a talented team aligned with our service standards.
- Monitor customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols throughout the restaurant environment.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting with a strong background in restaurant management.
- Extensive food industry knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient transaction processing.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- Background in hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and restaurant health standards.
- Prior experience in bartending or barista roles is a plus, showcasing versatility within the food industry.
