Overview
We are seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and cleanliness. Previous restaurant, hotel, or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
Duties
- Responsible for thoroughly cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Ensure all items are sanitized according to health and safety standards before being stored or used again.
- Assist with general kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support food preparation staff by organizing clean dishes and utensils for service.
- Maintain a tidy work area to promote safety and efficiency within the kitchen environment.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail wfocus on cleanliness and safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
