Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dependable Brand Activation Food Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a mobile food truck bringing it to various events/locations and unloading/loading up assets. This role will be from July 13th - Mid September (possibly extending into October).
Duties
- Safely operate the food truck at scheduled events, festivals, and promotional activities across different locations.
- Pick up and Drop off of the vehicle at locations in the Vancouver Area (MAX 1-1.5 hours away). Returning it at a storage cite when not in use.
- Load, unload, and secure supplies and equipment using appropriate tools when necessary
- Assist with moving inventory and promotional materials within the truck and storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck before, during, and after events
- Perform heavy lifting when required to set up or break down event stations or equipment
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent driving certification preferred
- Proven experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or related fields such as moving services
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Experience in warehouse environments or logistics is a plus
- Excellent moving skills for setting up and breaking down event setups efficiently
- Reliable transportation to reach various event locations on time
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining equipment and supplies
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
