About the Role
The campaign to elect Waseem Kazzah as Ward 7 City Councillor is seeking friendly, reliable, and community-minded volunteers to support our municipal election efforts. This is a meaningful opportunity to connect with residents, gain hands-on campaign experience, and help shape the future of Ward 7. Volunteers are asked to commit approximately 7–10 hours per week until Election Day on October 26, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Canvass door-to-door and engage in conversation with Ward 7 residents
- Distribute campaign literature throughout the community
- Assist at community events and campaign activities
- Help deliver and install lawn signs
- Make phone calls and reach out to supporters
- Support social media, data entry, and administrative tasks
- Encourage residents to participate in the municipal election
Qualifications
- Friendly, respectful, and comfortable engaging with the public
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Genuine interest in community service or municipal issues
- Available for occasional evenings or weekends
- No previous campaign experience required — training is provided
