Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Manager to oversee operations and sales across our Calgary and Edmonton regions. This role is pivotal in managing distributor relationships, optimizing rental operations, and driving overall sales growth.
Distributor & Dealer Management
- Act as the primary liaison for sub-dealers and distributors in Alberta.
- Build strong, trust-based partnerships to drive growth and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct regular visits and performance reviews with distributors to monitor compliance and operational standards.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to grow sales across both rental and equipment sales divisions.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, including new accounts and rental contracts.
- Support distributors in achieving both rental and equipment sales targets.
Rental Operations Oversight
- Monitor distributor rental operations to ensure equipment availability, maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate logistics for equipment delivery, returns, and fleet management.
- Implement operational improvements to maximize rental utilization and customer satisfaction.
- Provide guidance on rental pricing, promotions, and inventory optimization.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track key rental and sales metrics, including fleet utilization, downtime, rental revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide detailed reports to senior management on distributor performance, rental KPIs, and operational challenges.
- Recommend strategies to improve rental business efficiency and profitability.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with internal teams (rentals, service, and sales) to support distributors and resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure consistent communication of promotions, product launches, and operational policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in rental business or dealer management, preferably in heavy equipment, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Strong operational and sales acumen, especially in equipment rentals.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel between Calgary and Edmonton as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
