A MUST for the Job:
- Work experience in either food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with filling/batching operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership to supervise production line employees and to ensure that the team of operators follow company manufacturing policies, personal and food safety procedures.
- Able to address machine downtime and changeovers in a timely fashion and keep the line running.
- A mechanical expertise in manufacturing operations of batching will be an added advantage.
- Must be able to work in a Team environment and build good work relationship with the team.
- Ensure that the shift checklist is completed, verified, and filed, for each production shift and attached to production work order.
- Ensure the production schedule is followed. Good planning skills to execute the production schedule and required ingredients are made available for each shift.
- Execute batching procedures for all products (over 20 recipes to learn and follow) and ensure product integrity is maintained by following SOP’s,GMP and HACCP procedures.
- Able to improve efficiency and minimize wastage.
- Good verbal and written communications.
- Ability to follow recipe closely and check for all ingredients
- Follow FIFO procedures to ensure lot traceability is being followed properly on all raw ingredients.
- Become knowledgeable of all line operating roles to relieve line operators for lunch breaks.
- The supervisory role will be either in morning or afternoon shifts.
