Shop Assistant / Trainee – ClipCar Inc. (Toronto)
We're looking for a hands-on assistant to join our team full-time (hourly). No installation experience required — we're looking for someone who genuinely wants to learn the trade and is willing to work hard for it.
What you'll do
- Assist experienced installers with paint protection film and wrap jobs
- Wash, decontaminate and prep vehicles before installation
- Keep the shop, tools and work area clean and organized
- Move vehicles around the shop and lot
- Occasional communication with customers (drop-offs, pickups)
- Learn to operate our plotter and film-cutting software — full training provided
What we're looking for
- Strong work ethic and genuine interest in learning the trade
- Punctual and reliable — you show up when you say you will
- Basic computer skills
- Valid G2 or G licence with a clean driving record
- Able to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
- Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet all day
Assets
- Real tinting experience — actual time on the job, not a short course or a couple of weeks
- Detailing experience
