Job Summary
Service Ontario - Port Elgin is seeking an dedicate, enthusiastic, outgoing, organized, and friendly part-time customer service representative to join our team and provide top-notch service to our customers in the Service Ontario private (local non-government owned) issuing office.
This role involves assisting customers with inquiries and issuing services through effective communication.
Duties
- Maintain updated knowledge of relevant Service Ontario services in order to provide adequate services to customers
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer issues
- Process health card, driver's license and vehicle transactions accurately by following prescribed protocol
- Obtain necessary information from customers to adequately and efficiently process transactions
- Foster and maintain relationships with customers to improve retention rate
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service-related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to foster and maintain working relationships is a must.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous priorities in a busy office environment
- Positive and service-oriented attitude is an absolute must.
- Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Intermediate computer skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Efficient, organized and a natural problem solver
- High level of patience and ability to manage a variety of customer needs.
- Candidate thrives on keeping busy and desires to keep up to date with training modules and MTO related information
- Long periods of sitting and/or standing is required
This position is part-time, 15 hours per week, during week days only. 9am to 5pm. Flexibility with your availability is required within this time frame. No weekends and holidays. Training will be provided once the successful applicant has obtained a Service Ontario security clearance.
Screening will be paid by the employer.
