Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3rd year Apprentice Plumber/Journeyman Plumber to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in plumbing, construction, and maintenance within a dynamic work environment. The position involves hands-on training and collaboration with experienced professionals to ensure the successful completion of various plumbing projects.
Duties
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems for commercial construction and onsite customer services
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Qualifications and Skills
- A Journeyman or 3rd year apprentice
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Committed to workplace safety and following regulations
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and climbing
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a crew
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Working Conditions
This role is on construction and commercial job sites. Travel to job sites within Calgary and surrounding area is required.
Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
