Please note that this is a seasonal position that will run until October 4, 2026. We need someone who is available full time days (10am to 5pm) and full time nights (5pm to close). Closing dishwasher is often here until midnight.
Dishwasher Position at the Lost Anchor, Cavendish PEI
The Lost Anchor, a renowned seasonal restaurant in Cavendish, PEI, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our professional team. Our establishment, known for its excellent service and delectable cuisine, operates from the beginning of June to the beginning of October. We pride ourselves on providing a delightful dining experience to our patrons.
Position Summary: Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will extend to assisting with food preparation and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing Duties: Maintain the cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Food Preparation Assistance: Support the culinary team with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing basic ingredients.
- Kitchen Organization: Ensure that the kitchen is well-organized and that all tools and utensils are properly stored.
- Communication and Teamwork: Work effectively with the kitchen staff, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
- Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Must uphold the high cleanliness standards of our establishment.
