Flat Roofing Production Foreman with a Valid Driver's Licence for driving a company vehicle.
The individual must be able to speak and understand English.
Wage is based on experience and ranges from $36 to $44 an hour.
Minimum 3 years Foreman/Lead Hand experience in production flat roofing is an asset.
Safety tickets, especially Fall Protection and First Aid is an asset, but the successful applicant will be provided paid training for Fall Protection and First Aid if they do not have a current valid ticket. All other safety training will be paid as well when the necessary training is required.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, or replace roofs using single ply roofing systems including EPDM, TPO, and PVC. Experience with SBS and BUR roofing is also preferred.
- Manage a team of roofers while developing their skills and enabling their growth
- Ensure that installations are completed safely, on schedule, and with the highest level of quality
- Be able to perform safety inspections and fill out daily safety paperwork including Field Level Hazard Assessments and Fall Protection Plan and also weekly Toolbox Meetings with your crew.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of different roofing materials and installation techniques in various roofing systems
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment required for roofing projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address roofing issues
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and precise installation
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and perform lifts of up to 100lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
