Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various products and components, ensuring high-quality standards and a polished appearance. Your mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and understanding of safety protocols will be essential to your success. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Mix paints, stains, and coatings accurately according to specifications using basic math skills
- Apply paint and finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other power tools with precision and consistenc
- Perform routine inspections of painted surfaces for quality control, ensuring smooth, even coverage without drips or blemishes
- Maintain a clean work area by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials in accordance with safety standards
- Collaborate with assembly and machining teams to coordinate finishing processes within lean manufacturing principles
Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math for mixing paints and measuring surfaces
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and steady hand skills
