Beachcomber Hot Tubs & Outdoor Living is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping people, building relationships, and earning a great income through exceptional customer service, we'd love to meet you.
As a Sales Consultant, you'll help customers create their perfect backyard by matching them with the right hot tub, sauna, patio furniture, BBQ, or outdoor living solution. You'll work with premium Canadian-made products, receive ongoing training, and become a trusted advisor for customers making one of the most exciting purchases for their home.
This is not your typical retail sales position. We focus on education, relationship building, and creating an exceptional buying experience—not high-pressure sales tactics.
Our compensation package rewards performance. You'll receive a competitive base salary plus an uncapped commission structure, giving motivated team members the opportunity to earn between $50,000 and $100,000+ annually. Whether you're an experienced salesperson or someone with exceptional customer service skills looking to build a rewarding sales career, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the showroom and create an outstanding first impression.
- Learn about customers' needs and recommend the best products for their lifestyle and budget.
- Demonstrate hot tubs, saunas, patio furniture, BBQs, and outdoor living products.
- Explain product features, financing options, warranties, and available promotions.
- Prepare quotes, process sales, and follow up with customers throughout their buying journey.
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospective customers using phone, email, and text.
- Build long-term relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.
- Assist with merchandising, showroom presentation, and maintaining an inviting sales environment.
- Work closely with the delivery and service teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Continuously develop product knowledge through training and manufacturer education.
Qualifications
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Positive attitude with a genuine desire to help customers.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and point-of-sale software.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Availability to work weekends and some evenings.
- Experience in retail sales, furniture, automotive, home improvement, appliances, or commissioned sales is considered an asset but is not required.
