Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with dessert preparation, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting daily café operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
- Take customer orders in person, over the phone, and through online platforms.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and custom orders.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Assist with preparing and assembling desserts, cakes, beverages, and other menu items.
- Package customer orders carefully and ensure presentation standards are met.
- Help decorate and finish desserts under supervision when required.
- Assist with food preparation and ingredient portioning.
- Restock display cases, refrigerators, packaging supplies, and inventory as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the storefront, kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and baking equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Monitor product freshness and report inventory shortages.
- Help organize deliveries and stock incoming supplies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support special events, holiday orders, and busy seasonal periods.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Food service, bakery, café, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
