Position Summary
As a Team Member at Mr. Puffs, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional customer experience by preparing high-quality food and beverages while providing friendly, efficient, and professional service. You will work as part of a team to ensure every customer receives fresh, delicious products in a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Welcome every customer with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
- Provide excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Address customer questions, concerns, or complaints promptly and respectfully, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and coworkers.
Food & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare specialty coffees and hot beverages.
- Make milkshakes, ice cream treats, and Tornadoes according to Mr. Puffs' standards.
- Dress and customize puffs according to each customer's order with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare fresh puff dough following established recipes and food safety procedures.
- Fry fresh puffs to ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain product quality and portion standards at all times.
Operations
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Support inventory organization and restocking of supplies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety guidelines.
- Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations.
- Previous food service or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Previous customer service experience is an asset.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is an asset.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset (if applicable).
- Comprehensive training will be provided; no prior experience is required for motivated candidates who are eager to learn.
