Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, clean, diagnose, and repair heat pump systems and related HVAC equipment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and administrative staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Anchor and hook up HVAC machinery according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and occupational standards to maintain a secure work environment.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency service when needed.
- Handle medium to heavy equipment with care and precision.
- Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications
- Journeyman refrigeration license preferred.
- Minimum 3rd period apprentice or equivalent experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s abstract with a clean driving record.
- Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS) an asset.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
