Meridian Farm Market is a family business that operates farm market style grocery stores across the lower mainland. We now have a fulfillment warehouse which includes a Meat Processing facility and home deliveries.
We are looking for experienced or those willing to learn to be Meat Cutters for our refrigerated Meat Processing facility, varying levels of qualification are welcomed. As a registered apprentice sponsor, we provide full apprenticeship training.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing items for production
- Cutting, grinding & sausage making
- Clean machines and work areas
- Feed and unload processing machines
- Check products & packaging for basic quality defects.
Requirements:
- Will train if you have previous knife skills or worked in a previous field
- Previous meat cutting experience or willing to become a meat cutting apprentice.
- Meat Cutting Journeyman Ticket or registered in program.
- Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated warehouse
- Repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination and attention to detail
- Physical requirements such as standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
- Overtime required
- Operations run 7 days a week.
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
