About the Role
BCL is seeking a Technical Electronics Field Service Engineer to support, maintain, and troubleshoot our industrial electronic systems and equipment at customer sites. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician or engineer with strong diagnostic skills, comfort working independently in the field, and a solid foundation in electronics theory and practical repair.

Key Responsibilities
- Field Diagnostics — Perform on‑site troubleshooting, testing, and root‑cause analysis of electronic systems, control panels, sensors, and integrated equipment.
- Equipment Repair — Complete component‑level repairs, board replacements, wiring corrections, and calibration of electronic devices.
- Preventive Maintenance — Conduct scheduled inspections, performance checks, firmware updates, and system health assessments.
- Customer Support — Provide clear communication, technical guidance, and professional interaction with clients during service visits.
- Documentation — Record service activities, diagnostic findings, parts used, and follow‑up recommendations in company systems.
- Installation & Commissioning — Install new electronic equipment, configure systems, verify functionality, and train end‑users.
- Safety & Compliance — Follow all electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical education.
- Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits, sensors, PLCs, and industrial electronics.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
