Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Case Worker to support our team in providing comprehensive assistance to clients. This role involves collaborating with case managers, engaging with clients, and ensuring the delivery of effective social services. Job Description
- Assist in developing and implementing case plans tailored to client needs
- Support case managers in coordinating services and resources to individuals who are unhoused or experiencing housing insecurity
- Engage with clients to assess their needs, provide guidance, and facilitate access to community programs
- Preform accurate data entry and maintain electronic records
- Understanding of harm reduction concept, mental illness, and concurrent disorders
- Monitor client progress and maintain detailed records of interactions
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach efforts
- Advocate for clients’ rights and connect them with appropriate support services
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
- Knowledge of social service programs, community resources, and client advocacy strategies
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of work
- Drivers license and own vehicle
- A background or interest in social work, counseling, or related fields is preferred
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
