Job Summary
The Preventative Maintenance Associate helps keep greenhouse equipment and buildings running safely and smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Follow the preventative maintenance schedule.
- Inspect equipment and machines for wear or damage.
- Complete basic repairs and replace worn parts.
- Check and top up fluid levels.
- Report major repairs to the Maintenance Manager.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Help move and assemble equipment.
- Perform basic building and grounds maintenance.
- Follow all health and safety rules.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Maintenance experience is an asset.
- Able to use basic hand tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy materials as required.
- Flexible and adaptable to competing demands.
Work Environment
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
- May require working at heights (training provided).
