The National Account Executive is a senior sales role responsible for securing and growing national client partnerships for Matrix Consulting Group Inc. This position targets large employers across Canada, delivering specialized WCB consulting and disability management solutions that improve outcomes and reduce costs.
The role requires a consultative, relationship-first approach engaging decision-makers, identifying complex challenges, and aligning Matrix’s expertise in claims management, appeals, and cost recovery to client needs. Success in this role is driven by the ability to build trust, navigate multi-stakeholder organizations, and convert opportunities into long-term, high-value partnerships.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Drive national account growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with Canadian employers
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on disability management and WCB solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle, including outreach, presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
- Execute consistent outbound marketing through phone, email, and virtual meetings, with disciplined follow-up on all leads
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, activity reporting, and client records using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Collaborate closely with leadership and service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, delivery, and issue resolution
- Develop tailored client solutions and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and grow market share
What you bring:
- 5+ years of success in B2B sales, account management, or business development
- Strong, professional communication skills across phone, video, email, and in-person interactions
- Proven ability to build relationships, present confidently, and close complex deals
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline and sales activity
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (primarily office-based with occasional client travel; no remote work)
- Strong marketing experience with verifiable references (must be provided and will be contacted prior to final selection)

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
