Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Labourer to join our sign fabrication team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the fabrication process, with a focus on mounting materials for the router and ensuring the removal and cleaning of materials from the router.
Responsibilities:
- Mount materials for the router machine based on design specifications and project requirements.
- Safely and efficiently operate hand tools and equipment to ensure precise mounting of materials.
- Remove and clean materials from the router, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and other measuring devices.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and project completion within designated timelines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and tape measure is crucial.
- Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing role is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Able to read and interpret work orders and production files.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Good work ethic and able to maintain clean, organized work area
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
