Maintenance Technician – Dual Property (Hotels)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations across two hotel properties. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, organized, and experienced in hotel or facility maintenance, with the ability to lead and support on-site maintenance teams.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring both properties are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. This includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and working closely with the existing maintenance teams at each property to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to:
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing systems
- Electrical systems
- Maintain and operate pool and hot tub systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance teams at both properties, providing guidance and support
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are properly assigned, followed through, and completed in a timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, mechanical rooms, and common areas
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance work and completed tasks
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when required
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, building codes, and brand requirements
- Assist with seasonal maintenance and property improvement projects
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or building maintenance preferred 5+ years.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Experience with pool and hot tub maintenance is an asset
- Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and hold teams accountable for task completion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical work as required
- Flexible schedule, including availability for emergencies, evenings, and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
