Job Summary
Duties include the complete tear-down, inspection, evaluation and rebuilding of hydraulic cylinders and rotary manifolds.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle and inspect hydraulic cylinders
- Perform precise dimensional measurements and component assessments
- Create detailed inspection reports with failure analysis and recommended scope of repair
- Order required components
- Reassemble cylinders to specification and pressure testing
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Mechanic or Millwright preferred. Would consider training a less experienced candidate with a good mechanical aptitude, work ethic, and safety attitude.
- Strong measuring and inspection skills
- This position requires a mechanically strong individual who takes ownership of quality and can work independently
- Ideal candidate would be willing to work within the shop team to help workflow in all areas required as needed.
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
