Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. Prior experience in cleaning within hotel, hospitality, or custodial settings is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks as needed for larger or specialized areas
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe throughout shifts
Experience
- Previous custodial or housekeeping experience preferred, especially within hotels or hospitality environments
- Experience with industrial cleaning tasks is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals used in professional cleaning settings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
