We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of the Cruise Director to ensure smooth event operations.
- Lead event set-up and ensure floor plan accuracy, service needs, décor, and bar requirements are in place according to event specifications (BEO).
- Coordinate event set-up and teardown with servers, kitchen staff, and facilities staff.
- Conduct pre-event walk throughs to ensure all event elements are set up according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of event details, including guest counts, special requests, and service notes.
- Follow all food safety and quality regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of customer service experience as a server in a fast-paced environment, including restaurants, lounges, or convention centres.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure guest expectations are exceeded.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
