Pur & Simple is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave
* Manage waitlists, reservations, and seating arrangements efficiently
* Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions
* Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth guest flow
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and lobby area
* Answer phone calls professionally and assist with guest inquiries
* Process and package take-out orders accurately
* Assist in resolving guest concerns in a courteous and professional manner
* Support the front-of-house team as needed to deliver outstanding service.
Qualifications
* Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional phone etiquette
* Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
* Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
* Experience with POS systems is considered an asset
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Valid Smart Serve certification required
* Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
